About
Alex Dowidchuk is a multi platinum, Grammy-nominated audio engineer, mixer, producer, and DJ in Los Angeles, California.
Working alongside artists/producers such as Travis Scott, Brody Brown (Bruno Mars, Adele, CeeLo Green), Beyoncé, Channel Tres, Aliyah's Interlude, Trippie Redd, Marshmallow, Miley Cyrus, Central Cee, Usher, Devault, Annika Bennett, Taylor Mackall and more, Alex eventually left Record Plant to work extensively with rapper Travis Scott on his 2023 Grammy Award-nominated album "Utopia."
"After several years in Nashville, I knew I wanted to move to LA and work in a big studio. I was lucky to work at the famous Record Plant studios, first as a runner, then assistant, then engineer. In my years there I got to work on lots of A-list sessions, spent many nights on the couch, and fell in love with the studio life. It was a great place to meet people, many of whom I still work with today." - Alex
In addition to audio engineering, mixing, and producing, Alex is also a DJ specializing in deep vinyl selections and active in the LA underground electronic scene.
